Trips to Haiti
If you would like to go to Haiti, then you are more than welcome to come.  There are always projects to be worked on and opportunities to be of service.  Whatever your specific skills and gifts may be, you can be used for the Kingdom.

Shabach Ministries International (SMI) believes in the old adage that says it is better to teach a man to fish than to only give him a fish.  To that end, SMI frequently holds entrepreneurial classes for people who are interested in owning their own business.  Many people attend and are taught the basics of owning and running a business.  However, one thing is often lacking: skilled people to teach a specific trade.  It has been our experience that the Haitian people are hard-working, innovative, and creative.  They only lack the technical knowledge and training necessary to produce quality work.  If you know a specific trade or skill and would be willing to teach it, we would love to have you come to Haiti to share your knowledge with a people who are eager to be put to work (no prior teaching experience required).  We will provide the classroom and organize the meeting.  All you have to bring is yourself and the appropriate tools of the trade.  The longer you can stay the better.

There is also the opportunity to work in Haiti on a short-term basis.  Some careers take years and years of education and experience before they can be properly pursued.  Such job skills cannot be taught in a single trip to Haiti but are, nevertheless, in high demand.  Take a look at the list to the right to see if your specific job skills could be of service in Haiti.

The cost for staying at SMI's hostel is $60/day/person (includes breakfast and dinner).  Click HERE for pictures.  We can also make arrangements for transportation and a translator.
